New urgent care opening
KADLEC URGENT CARE
is opening
its new, permanent location at
4804 W. Clearwater Ave. in Kennewick
on December 18.
The new 7,500-square-foot clinic
is specifically designed to provide
patients easy access, ample parking,
efficient care and greater privacy. The
site was chosen for its central location
in the Tri-Cities area.
“Our patients will notice a
difference right away in the design
of the building,” said Randy Hartman,
region director, Kadlec Clinic Primary
Care. “We spent a great deal of time
determining how to create a facility
that improves the patient experience.
We are excited about how this has
turned out.”
Kadlec Urgent Care has three
providers:

Frank Newhouse, MD
Bevan Briggs, ARNP
Urgent care takes the pressure off of
emergency departments, according to
Hartman.
“Patients who need treatment for
urgent, but not emergency, situations
should come to Urgent Care if they
cannot get into their primary care
provider,” he said.
The four-acre site also offers the
opportunity for expansion, which
could include primary care.

Primary care
Unless it is a life-threatening
emergency, a call to your primary
care clinic is often the best place to
start. You should visit a primary care
provider for illnesses such as colds,
flu and sore throats; minor injuries,
aches and pains; or routine health

Urgent care
If your primary care provider
is not available and you need
medical attention for a non-
life-threatening problem,
visit Kadlec Urgent Care. This
clinic offers comprehensive
quality care on a walk-in basis
with extended hours. Care is
provided by staff trained in
urgent care medicine.
Emergency care
If you think you or your loved one
may be experiencing an emergency
medical condition, call 911 or go to the
nearest emergency room for treatment
immediately. The Emergency Department
at Kadlec Regional Medical Center,
888 Swift Boulevard in Richland, and
Kadlec ER in Kennewick located at
3290West 19th Avenue, are open around
the clock.
